Reagan is Student of the Month for her class, and she is very proud. I'm very proud too. She had some minor behavioral problems the last two years. Nothing major, mainly just talking too much and at inappropriate times. She is thriving with her current teacher though. There's an award's assembly on Friday. I'm so glad I have Friday's off!
Raising Reagan
Born September 2, 1996 My oldest daughter, the breath of fresh air that turned me into a feminist. A delightful and confusing challenge of a girl. She cannot wait to grow up.

pajama party
Well I shot higher than I could reach, and I had to lower my expectations. Story of my life.
I ended up abandoning a half-finished monstrosity of a cake, and picking up a store-bought cake when I got the sandwich tray. The damn thing just would not be finished, and kept eating frosting. I made FOUR batches of buttercream frosting, and still didn't get the damn thing even covered, much less decorated. It wasn't that lofty of a plan, but I got 'inspired' and thought I'd make a cake in the shape of a sun instead of just drawing a sun on the top of the cake. Oops. The upside is that we have lots and lots of cake. That is the downside too though.
Reagan ended up with four guests, one of which already called her mom to come get her. Poor Mom, she was in the middle of a party herself! She said her child changes her mind like this alot. They are having fun though. They are chockful of soda, cake, ice cream, chips and sandwiches, and have watched half a movie, played beauty shop, and had a fashion show. They are digging into a huge bag of candy that Reagan's uncle sent her now. They have movies to watch later. Everyone seems to be having a good time, in spite of my still dirty house.
